"TAKES A PEEK" AT THE LETTERS FROM APPLETTA:
|
The Appletta Letters sound magical and delightful. I am trying to keep it a secret from my daughter, Laurel. I am taking a peek now. Oh, she will love this! I could even hide them in "Fairy places" in our yard.
The letters from a Fairy would encourage the reluctant reader. Not that Laurel is one, but she's a hesitant writer, and I know instinctively that this could encourage her to write more, too.
What a wonderful service and a way to add a touch of magic to young lives. Every grandparent should know about this one!
(Later:)
Laurel found the 4-page letter outside, and came in to tell us. She noticed the fancy envelope and opened it with anticipation. As she read, she kept looking up at me and smiling. Laurel relished the story, and we all had to marvel at the whimsical illustrations and fancy papers. Laurel spotted a marigold seed in the handmade paper of one of the envelopes, which she plans to put in a pot to see if it will grow.
Each letter reveals a sweet and whimsical story bearing a gentle message. The themes interlace with the lives of young children - dealing with feelings, relationships and imagination. . . .
They are truly magical!

Handbound book in richly textured paper. Surprising papers AND surprising
stories inside!
"Appletta knows Wag-at-the-Wa', the swing-and-giggle, joke-poking pothook Fairy; Puddlefoot, who went nameless until he disappeared; Joan the Wad, the professional tickler. . . . And Appletta knows brownies. . . ."

Laurel found the book and was thrilled. She seems to fully believe in Appletta, and is delighted to have her as her Tooth Fairy, even without prospect of losing any teeth in the near future.
I do hope you'll be publishing more Appletta letters and books, because Laurel has already made me promise to look them up, and I think we'll be devoted customers.
Thanks again for your wonderful product (gee, it's hard to call it that because the word seems so impersonal) and to see Laurel's imagination continue to bloom.
THERE TRULY is *MAGIC* in the WORLD!
